Time Travel

Time Travel is a collection of intuitive mixed media abstracts, created through a process of experimentation, layering and instinct.

Rather than beginning with a particular place or image, I allow each painting to develop organically. Colour, texture, collage and mark-making build upon one another, creating a sense of movement and discovery. The finished works are not intended to represent something specific, but to evoke a feeling or a sense of somewhere familiar yet difficult to define.

The series grew from my own fascination with how we can be transported by a sound, a colour, a place or a fleeting thought - suddenly finding ourselves somewhere else in time.

Each work invites the viewer to pause, explore the layers and make their own connection with what they see.
